This is a micro-perforated wrap which allows your cheese to breath over 6 to 10 weeks of maturation which is perfect for ripening camembert, brie and other white moulded cheeses. This micro-perforated wrap allows the white mould to infuse the interior of your cheese during this time.
The dull side of the paper will absorb any excess moisture (so should be the side touching the cheese) while the shiny side with holes protects the cheese from drying out while still allowing it to breathe and develop flavour.
Included in this pack are adhesive labels to keep your cheese sealed, with space to write on so you can identify/monitor your cheese easily.
