The I.O.Shen 13.2cm Utility Knife can be used to carve, slice, bone and fillet, but it is typically used to cut small fruits and vegetables. It is perfect for slicing or cubing small quantities of meat or fish, or for the preparation of herb and garlic preparation.
This utility knife is paired with a slender handle and tapered blade. It may be a small knife, but it can handle the hardest of foods!

The Tai Tang is not simply an embellishment, it is an integral part of the handle. Injection moulding means that the handle will not fall apart over time (as associated with riveted handles).
The handles are produced from a material called ebonite which is both durable and heat resistant. It is not recommended to wash these knives in a dishwasher.
